Long Plan For Myself

“I have a long plan for myself so that in the future I know what to do during hard times.”

“I am 26 years old and have worked in Malaysia for 5 years. Since I was 21 years old, I started my first job in a factory.  I was unable to continue my studies and was forced to follow a migrant workers agent to work in Malaysia. My parents couldn’t afford to pay my school fee but it did not break my passion for learning. I spent every weekend to attend classes at an Indonesian School and at the same time work as an operator at the factory. I have a long plan for myself so that in the future I know what to do when times get rough. I signed up to this class last month and it’s still a long way for me to finish my studies here. I don’t plan to stay and work longer in Malaysia so I saved all my money and send some to my family in hometown. Like other teens around the world, I also have my own ambition and don’t want to live like this forever. I only aimed to work here in the next 5 years. I don’t want my younger brother or my daughter in future to be like me. I always teach myself to save and learn to spend consciously. I don’t have any intention to get married now as the money that I earned now will be used as a capital for my future company.”
