Back To My Hometown

I want to retire from my current job and return to the village and rest.

“My savings started growing after 14 years of working in Malaysia. Since all my children work in Malaysia and my mother in the village passed away 7 years ago, I never have to send money to Indonesia. They all went to Malaysia after graduating from high school for wanting to work here and stay with me. All my relatives in Indonesia have their own income so there is no problem for me here.

I live quite close to my workplace so it is very convenient for me. I don’t need to spend a lot of money to work. Most importantly I can go home and cook and get back to work until the end of my work shift.

I want to retire from my current job and return to the village and rest. It’s been 7 years since the last time I went back to my hometown. Since then, I just saved money for my retirement. I also want to open a business and now the kids are helping me to earn some money to start our business.”
