Business Development Executive


TransferFriend aims to combine a world class remittance service with entertaining financial education within the ASEAN market. We are a fast growing team in the FinTech start-up environment looking to on-board individuals who are not afraid to take on challenges, open to learning new skills and are able to communicate key messages to our target audiences.

The Business Development Executive (Singapore based) is responsible for helping the company increase sales for both short term and long term. Develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations. First and foremost, we’re looking for a leader who understands how to leverage real data and capitalize on business trends and opportunities. We’re looking for managers who are customer-obsessed and ready to solve the changing needs of our clients.

Ultimately, you should have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team in an evolving industry landscape.

Task Reponsibilities: 

  • Identifying and adapt the “go to market” approach in Singapore for TransferFriend
  • Preparing suitable business materials for the company in Singapore
  • Building a sales pipeline for TransferFriend in Singapore among relevant businesses
  • Building a partner pipeline to promote service among customers
  • Helping with long-term planning to scale the business in Singapore
  • Keeping track of the marketing budget and reporting accordingly
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Hitting KPIs (# of registered Members, money transfer volume)
  • Continuously improving the pitch, network and business approach
  • Work with other departments to resolve potential customer issues

  • Excellent English writing and communication skills
  • Extra ASEAN language (Bahasa Indonesia is a priority) skills are a bonus
  • Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information
  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • Must be a Singaporean or holding a Singapore PR
